SBPT15 Week 2: "Audiobooks: 5 Not-to-Miss Releases" - Recommendations by Jess (Little Book Heaven)

THE INTRO

Welcome to the Summer Blogger Promo Tour, hosted by The Book Bratz!

If you're not familiar with it, the SBPT is like a temporary meme, only much more fun and interesting. Basically, a grand total of 56 bloggers who signed up for it have been divided in groups of 8 bloggers each. Every group gets to swap posts through the whole summer - that is, every blogger in the group (plus the host) is featured on one of their companions' blogs every Sunday, always contributing with a different and original post. You can read all about the SBPT here and here.

My blog stop today is at Marissa Nicole Reads, where you can read my post titled 5 Contemporary Novels to Read if You Need a Break from Romance (which is pretty self explanatory...).

And now, without further ado, let me introduce one of my blog tour pals!
Offbeat YA is proud to present Jess (Little Book Heaven), who kindly agreed to share her Top 5 Audiobooks with us.

THE POST

Audiobooks: 5 Not-to-Miss Releases
Recommendations by Jess (Little Book Heaven)

Hi everyone! I am Jess from Little Book Heaven and I am so excited to be teaming up with Roberta from Offbeat YA for the Summer Blogger Promo. With summertime season here I am outdoors constantly, especially for my evening walks. That means I always have my iPod going, whether it's listening to music or audiobooks. I have been asked by Roberta to list my top five favorite audiobooks. Here are the ones that are always on my playlist.

1. The Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead.

2. The Soul Screamers Series by Rachel Vincent

3 The Revenant Series by Amy Plum

4. The Providence Trilogy by Jamie McGuire

5. The Book of Luke by Jenny O'Connell

These audiobooks have great narrators that really bring the story and characters to life. Not to mention they have everything that I look for in a book, excitement, romance and action. I have definitely jumped on the audiobook bandwagon for sure.

  1. I LOVE The Soul Screamers series though I have never listened to the audiobooks. Maybe this summer? ;)

  3. I love the way you have this formatted! I know it has nothing to do with the content, which is also great. I just love your boxes.

  4. Intriguing books indeed, but for reasons unknown to myself, I don't like audiobooks *shrugs helplessly* Lovely recommendations nevertheless!

    1. I guess the main reason why we don't do audiobooks is because English is an acquired language. I have to admit though, I'm a hopeless paperback (or hardcover, sometimes) lover!

  5. I'm so bad with audiobooks - I keep getting distracted and having to go back. lol I do ok with biographies especially by comedians though. Probably because if you miss a few parts it's not so bad.

Welcome to Offbeat YA! I love hearing from you and always - I mean always - acknowledge your comments. This used to be a full democracy place, because anyone could comment, regardless of being a registered member of any community. Unfortunately, I had to turn off the Anonymous comment option, because I was getting too much spam that didn't get filtered. So, you’ll need to have a Google account (Gmail will suffice) in order to comment. Sorry about that. Anyway, jump right in! Come on, you know you want to...😉 And be sure to leave a link!
BTW...I don't care if a post is a million months old - you comment, I respond. And you make my day 😃.
Note: this is an award/tag free blog. Sorry I can't accept nominations due to lack of time.
