Thriller Room

Welcome to the Thriller Room.

What's life without a mystery?

First off, I have to say I'm an avid fan of classic thrillers, namely by Agatha Christie, Ellery Queen, John Dickson Carr/Carter Dickson/Carr Dickson, Rex Stout. I've been reading their books in Italian (most of them at a very young age, since my mother was a fan before me, so they were in the house). Maybe one day I'll decide to blog about them too. For now, a very short list of teen thrillers...pure thrillers, without the supernatural edge - or mostly dealing with a mystery, at the very least.
Again, the ones in bold are those I plan to read. The books are listed by authors' surnames. Reviews (and more titles) coming in time. For Thriller books by Christopher Pike, please enter Christopher Pike's Room.

Foxlee, Karen: The Midnight Dress (10/13)
Hoh, Diane: Funhouse (07/90) -> [I read in in Italian]

   Crash Into Pieces (09/16)
Scoppettone, Sandra: Playing Murder (04/85) -> [I read in in Italian]

Welcome to Offbeat YA! I love hearing from you and always - I mean always - acknowledge your comments. This used to be a full democracy place, because anyone could comment, regardless of being a registered member of any community. Unfortunately, I had to turn off the Anonymous comment option, because I was getting too much spam that didn't get filtered. Sorry about that. Anyway, jump right in! Come on, you know you want to... ;) And be sure to leave a link!
BTW...I don't care if a post is a million months old - you comment, I respond. And you make my day. :D
Note: this is an award/tag free blog. Sorry I can't accept nominations due to lack of time.
