(Please note: I already did a separate post for the first question of the month, so I'm starting with the second).
September 2025 Round-Up
+ Question of the Day:
IF YOU COULD LIVE IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY FOR A YEAR, WHICH COUNTRY WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
- September 9th: What’s your favorite room in your house?
I'd say the living room, but only because...
- September 16th: What would you do if you won the lottery? (a question I submitted)
Assuming there were enough money for all these thing...pay off the mortgage, stay at a hotel while I have the house redone from scratch, go to a hair salon VERY far from where I live where they do mind-blowing perms to see if they're able to perform a miracle for me LOL. I mean,
scroll to the bottom of this page and take a look! ๐งก ๐ญ. Anyhow, the problem is, games based on luck have no appeal for me, and when I spend my money I want to get something in return, so I don't buy lottery tickets to begin with...๐คท♀️
- September 23th: Which fictional character do you wish were a real person? (a question I submitted)
I mean, what did you expect? ๐ ๐ (Frankly, I would happily set for the 11th Doctor or the 12th Doctor as well...but really, all the Doctors are THE Doctor, so I only wish the Doctor existed...).
- September 30th: If you could live in a different country for a year, which country would you choose?
Given that two of my main passions (Queen and Doctor Who) originated in the UK, and that English is the only language I'm fluent in other than my own (though, as I'm fond of reiterating, I haven't spoken English since my uni days), I think I'd love to stay in the UK for a while and visit all the places that are relevant to the band or the show. (Regardless, the country looks lovely!). And before you put ideas into your heads, no, I swear I wouldn't camp in front of David's house LOL ( I don't even know where it is, anyway...). But I would definitely camp in front of Stonehenge...
Well, that's it for now. Did you enjoy this post?
Would you like to participate in the meme on a regular or semi-regular basis, and get emailed the prompt list? Just head over here and fill in Jen's form! (Of course, you can jump in anytime you like - you are under no obligation to actually do all the posts, or even most of them, just because you signed up, and you can remove yourself from the list at any time). And if you're interested in participating in a more casual manner, or only in commenting, here is the TMST prompt list for the month of October:
- October 7th: What's a movie or TV show that you'd recommend to everyone?
- October 14th: Has a book ever ignited a hobby/passion in you? (a question I submitted)
- October 21st: What’s something you rebelled against as a kid? (a question I submitted)
- October 28th: What was your favourite Halloween (or cosplay) costume? *Bonus for photos!
I'll only be back for the meme on October 28th for another round-up, but in the meantime, I'll read your posts and comment on them!
Now tell me something...if you could take a gap year from your everyday life, which country would you spend it in?
Yes, home is where computer is or in my case, laptop. I think people used to love livingrooms because that's where their television is but since the computer, people are glued to their computer or phone.
ReplyDeleteWhich country I would spend a year in? Couldn't say because I dislike traveling. I guess anywhere there is accommodations such as indoor plumbing and wifi because who wants to go anywhere uncomfortable.
Have a lovely day.
I think you're right about living rooms...and yeah, absolutely, indoor plumbing...I would never go camping or the like ๐ฑ.
